Get To Know Us
Adventists believe life is more than just the accumulation of "stuff". It’s about more than just surviving. It means more than simply maximising pleasure and minimising pain. We believe every life is of infinite value. Why? Because every human is miraculously crafted by God who wants us to live life to the full. What's more, He sent His Son to demonstrate true love, forgiveness and grace.

A few words from our church community
"I love the authentic fellowship we enjoy. We can be ourselves without fear of judgement. I appreciate the fact that the relationships offered here are real - I’ve had so much help and support from members. The many social and outreach events are so exciting and fun. It’s great to have something to look forward to most weekends. I also enjoy the sermons - the message and the worship - which soothe my soul. I like that our experience of church doesn’t have to comply with formal or rigid ideas, but is evolving as we grow together. I’m excited to be part of what’s coming next!" - Karen
”I love our church because of the loving people that has supported me and my family... also it has helped me grow in my spiritual life.” - Tili
“We love the fact that our church feels like a family. We also love the fact that children are welcomed at this church and are allowed to be themselves in this environment.” - Mark & Ann
“The people are so friendly and easy to get along with. The sabbath school I love learning and studying and everything reminds me of back home, the love and food.” - Tua
"I just love our church. It's got an amazing warm family vibe. I love the music, spiritual feeding through the sermon and Sabbath school. I love seeing peoples talents showcased. I love that our children are always involved in the service every Sabbath. I love that we are slowly incorporating culture. I love the friendships I have built and the ministeries we have to carry out evangelism! All glory be to God for He has done good things!" - Lua
"I love how close everyone is and how friendly, warm, and helpful people are, and how if any of the youth need to talk, they can go to you and the other youth leaders. I love the church socials and G1 as well as all the other activities that the church either runs or is a part of. I love how the church helps make it possible for the youth to go on the trips up to Christchurch for the volleyball and basketball tournaments and any other events up there." - Davida
"I like my church, the equality that exists between all the brothers and sisters, the understanding, love, harmony, the acceptance that they give to all of us regardless of status and regardless of their color, customs, the participation that they give to all of us, and the respect in opinions that they give to each of the brothers and sisters, and the most important thing is how we study from the word of God every day.” - Sandra
“I love this church community - it truly is a family away from home. We share in the joy and sadness, the easy and the hard, the big and the small. We are one big family of God.” - Claire
“I love that I have been able to make meaningful relationships with other church members and grow in my relationship with Christ because of the way that fellow leaders/members believe in me.” - Shania
